A leading project-based company in the energy sector is looking for an economist to join its finance team. The role involves working in a dynamic and varied environment, with a direct influence on business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Budget control: plan-versus-actual analyses and ongoing expense control
- Project control: financial support of projects from development through completion
- Financial interfaces: ongoing work with banks, cash-flow management and regular reporting
- SOX and internal audit: supporting internal audit processes, implementing and controlling SOX processes and meeting regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in economics or business administration (required)
- 4 to 6 years of experience as an economist (required)
- Previous experience in a public and/or project-based company (significant advantage)
- Familiarity with SOX processes and internal control (advantage)
- Full, advanced proficiency in Excel (required)
- Excellent analytical skills, initiative and good interpersonal skills
