The Commissioning Lead will join the core team of the Commissioning Department, which is responsible for the correct, safe and optimal start-up of the electrical and control systems in the projects the company builds.
Key responsibilities
- Leading testing processes in solar, electrical and control system projects
- Performing initial tests of electrical, control, SCADA and communication systems
- Diagnosing faults and improving the performance of equipment in the field
- Preparing detailed reports and handover documents for the client
- Working closely with the design, construction, quality control and project management departments
- Performing functional tests according to standards and procedures
- The role combines field work and office work
Requirements
- Electrician license with relevant experience (required)
- Electrical, control or energy systems engineer or practical engineer (advantage)
- Experience in commissioning solar systems, LV and HV electrical systems or control systems
- Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and plans
- Full proficiency in computer and Office applications
- Technical English for reports and documents
- Driver's license (required)
